4 great bodybuilding tips

July 30th, 2010

Below are 4 great bodybuilding tips that all weightlifters can benefit from knowing.  (These tips apparently came from Dorian Yates at one of his seminars but I am not 100%, they sounded great so thought I would share them here, they do sound like the words you would expect from Dorian.)

  • On bent over rows don’t bend over too far this will only put unwanted pressure on your lower back, which could easily lead to an injury.
  • On dead lifts at the top you don’t need to lean back this only puts unwanted pressure on the vertebrae.
  • On dead lifts don’t hit the floor after each rep this takes all the resistance out of the muscle during the rep.
  • On lat pull downs a wider grip doesn’t add more width to the back, an ultra wide grip can easily lead to a bicep injury.
