  1. Eat 5-6 meals a day- our bodies like being fed regularly and when we know we are getting food regularly throughout the day we store less as fat.
  2. Eat Carbs with a low GI level- GI is the rate at which carbohydrates contained in food is converted to glucose and enters the bloodstream.  Carbohydrate intake leads to insulin secretion, the faster the Carbs enter the bloodstream the higher the insulin secretion.  Lower the GI level, the lower the insulin secretion and the less likely Carbs will turn to fat.
  3. Add high intensity weight training to your workouts- high intensity weight training increases hormones that helps break down fat.  High intensity weight training also causes build up of Lactic acid which increases growth hormone that is a powerful fat loss agent.
  4. Drink water regularly throughout the day- drinking approximately 500ml of water increases the metabolism by 30% according to scientific research.
  5. Get 8 hours sleep a night- 8 hours sleep a night helps with GH release a great fat burner.  Penelope Cruz used to say that sleeping more was what really helped her to lose weight.
