5 tips to maintain personal training clients
October 3rd, 2009- Track their personal training workout sessions – write down in a book or on an iphone each workout you do with them listing the weights they lift and the reps and sets they do so they can see their progress over time.
- Weight, fat percentage, measurements – weigh your clients once a month, measure their fat percentage once a month and measure their chest, arms, neck etc.
- Email your clients weekly - Email your clients weekly about their workouts they did this week so they can track their progress, and tell them roughly what you will be doing the following week. An email newsletter to all clients is a good idea, talking about how your clients are performing overall and giving fitness and diet tips.
- Schedule your diary around your clients – no matter what some stress reducing coach might tell you, to be a successful personal trainer you need to structure your diary around your clients most convenient times for working out, this way you keep them happy.
- Discounts on block bookings- offer your clients discounts on multiple session bookings this way they will keep coming back to you more weekly as this will make it more affordable, plus people like to get a deal.
