Weight loss advice from personal trainers

People often find weight loss the hardest yet as a personal trainer I tend to find this the easiest goal to achieve for my clients. The main problem with why people today don’t lose weight when training three times a week and watching their diest is that they have not fine picked their exercise regime and diet enough to see exactly what is keeping the weight on.

Client example A- trains in the gym four times a week doing both weights and cardio but cant seem to lose weight. She eats at home and watches her diet and drink 5 cups of tea and coffee a day. He workout regime involves 15 mins cardio and a lot of high repletion weights and crunches but can not seem to shift the weight on her stomach.

1. The stomach myth- A lot of people carrying fat believe that crunches will give them a six pack. You could do a thousand sit ups a day but unless you lose the fat covering your abs you will not see those abs.
2. Coffee and tea- Tea has caffeine in to you know! Too much caffeine increases toxin levels in the body causes you to bloat and look a lot fatter than you may actually be.
3. Cardio- 15 mins cardio is too short the body only really starts to break down fat after 20 mins cardio aim for 30 mins to 40 min runs.

This client example is the usual example of where weight loss is not achievable even when the client believes they are trying so hard and can be very disheartening for the customer.
