Benefits of lemons

Lemons have been a healing fruit for years the Romans used to use them as a cure for all types of poisons, today they are used to treat heartburn, nausea and constipation to name a few.  Lemon juice drank in the morning helps digestion by stimulating the liver to produce more bile to digest food and is also thought to help break down gallstones.  Lemons are also great for healing mental issues such as depression and anxiety.  Add lemon juice to your daily diet or eat a few lemon slices and you will reap the benefits of lemons.  Remember its not just vitamin C that Lemons are great for.
