The acai berry has had allot of hype around it over the past year or so but does it really live up to this hype?  Yes it does.  The acai berry provides a whole heap of nutritional benefits and since adding it to my diet I have to agree that this is one fruit you want to definitely include in your diet.

  • Enhanced mental clarity
  • Better sleep
  • Immune system booster
  • Anti aging qualities
  • Decreases arthritis and joint pain
  • Reduces depression
  • Stabilizes blood sugar levels
  • Improves physical strength
  • Helps Prevent cancer
  • Helps get rid of toxins in the body
  • Improves digestion

You can either eat acai berries in their whole fruit form or drink acai juice but make sure it is pure acai juice.

What are super fruits ?

Super Fruits are fruits which are nutrient rich and full of antioxidants.  Examples of super fruits are acai berries, goji berries and cranberries.  Most super fruits are quite expensive due to the exceptional benefits they offer.  Super Fruits should only be taken in small portions due to their strength.  Most people today get the benefits of super fruits from cartons of freshly pressed super fruit juice such as some of the innocent smoothie range.  Here is a useless fact, innocent smoothies actually started in the room where our gym is now based.
