Clap press ups

After you can complete a lot of press ups back to back you may be wondering how to make your press ups harder. There are lots of different versions of press ups that are much harder than the standard press up such as the clap press up or diamond press up. The clap press up is an excellent press up to increase explosive power. Clap press ups are when you come to the top of the press up rep you boost yourself off the floor keeping your feet on the floor but bringing your hands into the air clapping them in front of you then going back down. The more advanced version of the clap press up is the double clap press up but be warned this is a very easy way to injure yourself as you may not have time to finish the claps and end up on your nose.
