Fat burning tips

The most common goal of most people who come to My Fitness Studio W10 is to burn fat.  I have put together a few fat burning tips to help you burn fat over the winter, a time when lots of us end up putting on the pounds.

  1. Do cardio training for minimum 20 minutes (body breaks down fat most efficiently after 20 minutes of cardio)
  2. Drink lots of water
  3. Keep yourself at around 65% of your maximum heart rate
  4. Don’t eat last thing before you go to bed
  5. Put on muscle, more muscle you have the more fat your body burns naturally day to day
  6. Start cycling or walking to work
  7. Be more active around the house, walking up and down stairs in your block if you live in apartments instead of taking the lift
  8. Get a dog, walking a dog regularly is a great way to lose weight
  9. Break your meals up into smaller meals throughout the day, body can digest these better
  10. Get a pedometer and try and beat your score each day
