    Hey buddy

I know it's too late but still if you searching for personal trainer jobs and want to do certification in any personal training course or you want some suggestions on which personal trainer course is good or which one is not.

I reccomend you Free Form Fitness Academy because they provide best personal training certification at international level. Even they also provide free E-courses to candidature.

I think this academy will definitely help you because 2 years ago I started my career as a personal fitness trainer and now I have a full authorization to work at any international academy.

I think this suggestion is worthfull for you.

    All the best
    With Regards

Has anyone here gone further than the standard Level 3 PT qualification? is there much value in things like the PTA Global Maxima qualification which Lifetime just introduced? Would be interested to hear peoples thoughts on that?

lukehackett - it really depends on what are you planning to do as a PT. Some PTs are choosing their specialisation and focus on one or two groups of clients. They find their niche and very often back their current knowledge with more speclialistic courses. A good example would be students who do Discovery's Master Level 4 course which includes Exercise Referral (also known as GP Referral) course and then choose Diabetes & Obesity Management or Lower Back Pain Management. They then go and train customers with special health needs. As not that many PTs actually can work with this group of clients PTs who has required courses get more clients.

If you are making a good leaving out of PT at the moment I guess you don't need extra qualification.

Hey Tom, thanks for the info mate. I am doing reasonably well at the moment but won't discount the idea of doing something like that in the future.

I did my Level 2 and 3 over a 4 month period at Soho Gyms Academy at their Waterloo branch. Good standard of teaching and a small group (only 8 of us). The course was held on weekends so it fitted in with my full time job elsewhere.
