Goal setting for the new year

When it comes to setting fitness and weight loss goals in the new year there are a couple of things you can do to improve your chances of reaching your goals.

  1. Set specific goals, don’t just say “I want to lose weight in the next 6 months” write down how much you want to lose precisely to the kg and the exact date you want to reach that weight by.
  2. Put pictures on your fridge of what you want to look like this year, this way when you go into the fridge for something to eat you will be reminded of your goal.
  3. Tell your personal trainer your exact goal so he can help you reach it and remind you of the time scale you have to reach it.
