I am 65 and regularly pull my back when picking up shopping bags or playing tennis what can I do?

When people get older they are often more prone to injuries for the following reasons.  Its not only the fact the body gets weaker as we get older but the fact that when people get older they do less exercise to strengthen the body.  If you are pulling your back when picking up shopping you need to strengthen your lower back which one of our personal trainers can easily assist you with by helping you out with a lower back workout regime to strengthen the lower back muscles giving you more support in the back.  When playing tennis if you are pulling your shoulder rotator cuff exercises and general shoulder strengthening exercises will help support the shoulder.  Tennis and golf are common sports played at all ages but when you get older these can be strenuous sports on the body.  Golf is hard on the back and tennis on the knees if you play either these sports and want some fitness training to help your game and help prevent you from injuring your self then talk to one of our personal trainers at Personal training studios.
