I have fat around the backs of my arms why does it not go when I do triceps exercises?

Women are often concerned about the fat on the backs of their arms, this becomes an increasing concern as they get older.  Reducing this fat is quite simple but does not come from just doing triceps exercises particularly targeting the backs of the arms.  Cardio is needed to reduce body fat and so is a stable diet.  When you do cardio and burn off more calories than you consume you will lose weight.  Weight is stored on the body in women especially over 35 on the backs of arms, legs and bums.  To reduce this fat on these locations you don’t only need to target this area with weights but do cardio to bring over all body fat down.  The best way to lose fat is to train in the fat loss zone around 60% of your maximum heart rate.  Training over 20 minutes of cardio is necessary in a session as this is when the body burns fat the best.  If you have any concerns about weight loss then speak to one of our personal trainers they will be more than happy to help you.
