Tiger Woods workout
October 1st, 2008
Tiger Woods and his personal trainer are very secretive about his workout, but a few parts of his routine have been revealed. Tiger Woods can bench press 300 pounds which at first blew me away as you would not expect this of him, for one he doesn’t look that big and secondly partaking in such heavy weight routines could easily damage the rotator cuff putting him out of golf action for months. Tigers personal trainer later reveled that actually this was done rarely due to its high risk of injury. Tiger concentrates with stability exercises and rotator cuff strengthening exercises as both are crucial to playing good golf. One of the exercises that would most likely be completed by Tiger Woods would be balancing on one leg and throwing a medicine ball from hand to hand a great stability exercise for golfers. If you have been watching the Ryder Cup and fancy improving your golf through golf specific personal training then give us a call, we have trained lots of people specifically for golf and they have experienced much longer drives as a result of their sport specific training with us.
