Here are some good reasons why you should lower your salt intake
Can lead to higher blood pressure
Cause Kidney stones to form
Lead to heart disease
To reduce your salt intake the first thing you should do is not add it to food in restaurants. Restaurants throw loads of salt all over food so there is certainly no need for you to add extra salt to your food. When cooking at home use less salt you will soon realize that salt is addictive like sugar of coffee and only when you stop taking it for awhile do you realize how much you were using. Once you keep off salt for awhile next time you eat something very salty you will really taste how much salt is in it as your body is not used to it. Similar to coffee drinkers first when they cut back its hard but then they begin to realize exactly how many cups of coffee they were over drinking by. Cutting salt down is one of the best things you can do towards improving your health and well being.
