Hangover advice

Hangovers are horrible, luckily I dont suffer too bad from them but many people suffer badly so here is some advice to help prevent them or if its too late, ease through them.  The best bit of advice I could give you as a personal trainer would be dont drink, this is sure to sought out the problem but if drinking is still a part of your life here are some tips.

  • Drink lots of water to keep you hydrated
  • Eat before you drink alcohol, to line the stomach
  • Take a multivitamin daily
  • Eat plenty of fruit to help with sugar levels
  • Consider drinking milk before going out to help line the stomach
  • Eat asparagus regularly as it help reduce alcohol toxicity

The above all help in keeping hangovers away.  The main cause of hangovers is dehydration so number one on the list is always drink plenty of water.
