Thera bands review

September 8th, 2008

Personal trainers are recommending Thera bands to their clients for their every day use.  Thera bands are 2 foot long rubber bands designed specifically for training, they come in different thicknesses to increase or decrease resistance.  They are commonly used by personal trainers in London with their clients during workouts to strengthen and tone muscle groups as well as by their clients around their home day to day for short exercise periods to strengthen injured muscles and reabilitate joints.  Physiotherapists often recommend the use of these bands to their clients for rehabilitation purposes and are great for stretching as act like an extra pair of hands.  We highly reccomend them for people in all areas of fitness and sport.  Even Raphael Nadal was seen warming up at Wimbledon with one of these Thera bands recently before his game with Federa.  I personally use a Thera band to help stretch out my hamstrings by lying on my back and pulling my leg towards me with my leg straight and the Thera brand around my foot, I find this gives me a really effective stretch (Pictured below.)
