Phentermine side effects

May 13th, 2010

Phentermine is an approved appetite suppresant which helps reduce weight in obese patients when used short term and combined with regular exercise and a good diet.  Phentermine releases certain chemicals in the brain that control the appetite.  There are side effects associated with taking Phentermine that users need to be made aware of.  Although Phentermine is well tolerated it can produce side effects consistent with its catecholamine releasing properties and elevated blood pressure, but this tends to be a lot less than with the amphetamines.  Phentermine can cause heart pulpitations and insomnia as well as make users become psychologically dependent which users need to take note about and monitor their intake to avoid this happening. When taking any fat burning pills psychological dependency can easily occur the same as with steroid use amongst bodybuilders.  When users of fat loss pills see results they believe it is solely down to the pills and feel if they give up taking the pills they will pile on the weight, be warned.  Fat loss pills should be used over the short term not the long term.
