Rsi and what you need to know about it

March 2nd, 2009

RSI known as Repetitive strain injury is an illness caused by overuse of a tool such as a musical instrument or computer keyboard.  The symptoms are pain in the arm which gets worse with activity and weakness and lack of endurance.  The way of treating it is to stop doing whatever is causing it and rest the arm and in future adapt your motion or limit your amount of motion of this tool for example if a computer keyboard use a wrist wrest this may help.  Strengthening exercises for the arm will help such as use of a power ball this is great for RSI and other forearm strengthening exercises.  If RSI is really bad massage and physiotherapy can really help.  Krenoula is our in house masseuse if you need a massage in Notting Hill for RSI she can help you out.
