In New Year 2007 I started a course at Personal Training Studios in order to lose weight, reduce blood pressure and generally regain a level of fitness that I had not had for some years. Through a balanced regime of cardiovascular training, weight training and stretching, along with dietary
and lifestyle advice, I found that in approximately 10 weeks my weight and blood pressure had both dropped dramatically and I was feeling fitter and healthier than I have for several years. This was after sessions of only 3 hours per week.

Trainer Robert Bray tailors each session so that it is balanced between what I want to do, and his professional opinion of areas that need more / less work. His one-on-one approach means that the work I’m doing is a lot more focused and effective than if I was simply left to my own devices in a public gym.

Daisy Newman- I went to personal training studios with the aim to lose weight. At first losing weight was very difficult due to my lifestyle and diet after going through this with Rob I realised that although being a regular gym goer my weight wasn’t dropping I needed to revaluate my approach. Rob changed my diet and changed my workout causing me to lose weight. Its only when we went through everything in detail I could see what was holding the weight, and many people train the way I did and only when going through their diet and lifestyle and fine tuning the areas that are causing them to hold weight do they actually lose the weight they want to.

I went to see Rob about losing weight as I knew him as a close friend and heard about his training and as I had been putting weight on the last year he was the man to see. Rob helped me lose around 5kg, which in the time was a lot as I could hardly ever attend the sessions as I was back and forth to the UK on business. He helped me change my diet into more manageable meals and I am far healthier for it.
