Diastolic – under 90

Borderline blood pressure

Systolic – under 160

Diastolic – under 95

High blood pressure

Systolic – 160 and baove

Diastolic – 95 or above

Blood pressure is a good indication of heart health, you want normal blood pressure throughout your life to ensure you keep away from heart disease, strokes, kidney failure, heart failure and many other serious health problems.  Its good to check your blood pressure once a month so you can adapt your fitness regime to your blood pressure result if necessary.
